Coastal Pet Sitter's services are tailored to provide the best possible care to insure your pet stays healthy and happy while you are away! As each pet is different, we offer several options for daily visits.

We provide from one to three daily visits of approximately 30-45 minutes each depending on the type and number of pets you have. Daily visits include one on one attention for each pet, playtime, dog walking if desired, yard and litter box cleanup, administering medications, and any household security tasks you would like to give your home the leaved-in look. Our home security tasks include mail and newspaper pickup, flyer removal, light and blind alternating, and watering of house and outdoor potted plants.

Blue Kitty We suggest 1-2 visits for cats and at least 2 visits per day for dogs. 3 visits work well for older dogs and puppies and dogs with separation anxiety.

Dog walking services are an excellent way to give your pet some well deserved exercise in the middle of the day! If you have a long workday and would like us to come by and exercise your pet...or if you just want a happy pet, an exercised dog is a happy dog!

Dog walking is a 30 to 60 minute walk outside your home from one to five days per week! To maintain a happy, healthy and well-balanced dog, they should have a minimum of 30 minutes to 1 hour of exercise per day. We know you have a busy schedule, so we are here to help. We also offer 1-2 hour play dates for our more "social" dog clients.

Pet Tips!

Tip

puppy flower
Socialize your puppy to 50 new people before it reaches 6 months old. This will get them comfortable with a wide variety of people.

Tip

Bird
Avoid mirrors and toys that look like other birds. If given these toys, the bird will bond with them instead of you

Tip

kitty
In a multiple cat household you should have one more litter box than the number of cats. For example, if you have 2 cats, you should have 3 boxes. This will help deal with territorial issues and may aid in preventing inappropriate elimination.

Tip

ID Tags
Keep that collar on for safety! You want those ID tags safely on your dog if she gets out or lost. A loose collar is NO FAVOR to your dog. The collar should fit like a watchband to be sure doggie can't pull it off and lose those impoportant tags.
